• Any Wagyu Steak portions
  • 5 tablespoons of soy
  • 3 tablespoons of mirin
  • 75g butter
  • 2 tbl chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 clove crushed garlic


  1. Pan sear or BBQ the steak until desired temperature. While resting we can make the sauce.
  2. Bring the Soy and Mirin to the boil in a pan.
  3. Add the butter and remove from the heat.
  4. While hot add the ginger, garlic and shallots.
  5. Serve with whole roasted mushrooms of your choice and cover lavishly with sauce.
