Ingredients

  • 1 Corned Silverside
  • 6 Cloves
  • 6 Peppercorns
  • 1 Onion (skin on) halved
  • 1 Carrot Skin On
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • ¼ cup White Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Garlic Cloves

Method

  1. Place in a pot of boiling water. Reduce and simmer for 1.5 hours, changing water every 30 minutes.
  2. Once cooked, wrap in foil and rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Serve with white sauce, cabbage and mash potato.
